| Printing on glass and photography have a very special connection with each other. Historically, images were born from exposing a plate of glass treated with silver to light and recording a scene. From recording family portraits and later on places and buildings, photography became an artistic media.
When I first started looking into the printing process on glass, it became clear that the glass added another dimension to my work. The transparency and fluidity of the glass emphasized the colours, textures and the relationship with light. With modern technology, we have closed the loop, re-creating a special bond between photography and glass.
